The Canadian Coalition of Community-Based Employability Training (CCCBET) is a national, non-profit organization comprising representatives from provincial and national non-profit employment and training associations and organizations.
Community-based employment programs are essential to Canada’s workforce development and economic success. These organizations offer accessible, localized services that not only respond to immediate employment challenges but also build long-term career resilience. Their creativity and adaptability allow them to swiftly address evolving workforce needs and priorities.
By working collaboratively with local businesses, community-based employment service providers create targeted solutions that meet the specific labour demands of both communities and employers. Strengthening the collaboration between government, business, and labour is crucial for enhancing productivity, and career professionals are at the forefront of this effort.
Community-based providers maintain vital relationships with local businesses, often doing so without direct compensation or formal data collection. Their commitment is driven by a shared vision of workforce improvement and economic vibrancy.
The CCOCDE CCCBET passionately advocates for these vital community networks, raising awareness about their significant contributions to fostering meaningful employment and promoting social inclusion, ultimately empowering all communities throughout Canada to thrive.
